Shigaraki and Dabi just about to have sex. Only Dabi then realizing Someone(AFO) has been molesting Shigaraki for Years. The panic in Shigaraki’s eyes when he whines or mumbles that it hurts, because he’s not supposed to, AFO taught him to shut up and take it or else he’ll just hurt shigaraki even more. It just because his cunts been abused for fucking years, that’s why it hurts when he’s touched. It just seems Dabi can’t stop finding more morbid things about Shigaraki’s life, every turn it’s something worse and worse.
They never continued the act, unless it was something more simple… like Shigaraki getting off on Dabis thigh, Dabi simply stroking Shigaraki’s T-dick, finger fucking him softly. pampering him with kisses. Trying to make himself forget what he had learned. And make Shigaraki forget it as well, not daring to even tell Shigaraki he knew and that wasn’t normal… at least it’s not happening anymore with AFO in the hospital (I don’t exactly remember where or what actually happened to make AFO have to leave) and he couldn’t bring himself to say it to Shigaraki, as the guys obsessed over his Sensei! He would probably think Dabis lying either way.
no wonder Garaki wants to check up on Shigaraki so much, probably to make sure he’s fucking ok or not pregnant. Definitely, probably, had a few abortions at a young age because AFO made him and Garaki was well, fucking disgusted but also a little happy AFO did bring Shigaraki to him.

step daddy puts you in you place. your place being on his fat cock. please 😩
TW: stepcest, nsfw, dubcon/noncon, overstimulation, size-difference, age-difference, Daddy kink
gn reader - fem labels (princess)
Give a brat an inch, and they'll take a mile.
He should have been strict with you from the very start. But... then he wouldn't reach what satisfaction dethroning a spoiled princess gives. The whole point is for you to show regret and remorse – repent your sins – or else you’ll have learned nothing.
In the end, you’ll wish you’d made different choices – been more grateful for all he gave you instead of just taking his goodwill and kind patience for granted.
Before you even know what’s happening, before your spoiled-rotten mind can even comprehend where your bitchy attitude has landed your bratty ass, it’s already too late for apologies.
But, hell... it would have been no fun in making you kneel if you didn't fight back just a smidge – if you didn’t tire yourself out and look up at him with that adorable scornful scowl – so pouty and grumpy with so many vicious obscenities on your tongue, where you deserve nothing but having your potty-mouth washed clean of all nasty protests and filthy comments along with a good thorough reminder of who’s in charge.
Poor little brat, you didn't know what you had coming, did you? Completely oblivious to the fact that your useless fists and aimless kicking do you no good whatsoever besides putting an amused smile on his face.
Poor little brat, you shouldn’t worry your pretty little head about anything anymore – Daddy’s heard your prayers and is going to be teaching you some proper manners from now on. Giving you the full length of his cock. Daddy’ll make sure his little monster is all tuckered out before nap time – you can count your bratty ass on it.
He’ll have fucked you into a grateful puddle before bedtime – reduce you to nothing more than a little dummy on his dick – a pleasure pet with your favorite toy stuffed up your taunt hole, pounding you silly until you know nothing else but how much you love your daddy.
Chanting it in choked, broken, needy little moans, “Daddy, Daddy, Daddy~” when he’s successfully bent your stubborn will and reduced you to nothing but his happy little fuck-toy.
The funny thing is that the slap to your ass does nothing but make you drown even further into the pleasure lake of his black sheets.
You’re so cute lying there in your own mess – soaked in sweat and cum with your tiny fists gripping the comforter like it’s the only thing grounding you sept for the strong hands holding your hips – lifting you to meet his sharp thrusts angled deep into your stomach when he splits you apart from the back for the umpteenth time.
It makes you see black, it makes you see white, where your core bursts with color, as he makes you wail out like a filthy little whore in heat – holding your sex with big fat fingers, making you cum again while receiving every thick inch of Daddy’s meat.
It doesn't get any cuter than your round face mushed into the silk covers – glossy pout wet with drool and tears, cheeks swollen and dewy – fucked completely stupid – droopy eyes soft like cotton, with your little red tongue licking the air between parted lips, panting and mewling for him – causing his knife-sharp hungry-hearted grin to twist and curl and grow ever so eerily wider as he fucks you harder and faster and deeper and louder.

b.katsuki + lava Quirk!wife (both Pro Heroes)
☆—a.n; i woke up today feeling feisty lol not really xd just wanted some "i'm crazy as you are" type of love today lmao✌🏼🖤
Bakugou Katsuki is obsessed with you.
And he doesn't even try to hide it.
You're his sidekick. You had trained in his Agency since you were a mere brat doing your internship your first year at UA. Of course, there were literally counted the times you had encountered him in person. The other Heroes that joined his Agency were the ones in charge of the kids. They had told you how Dynamight hated when babysitting time came every year, he wouldn't even participate in those actually. So they would advice to not cross his path.
From time to time, Dynamight would watch their sparrings sessions, gave them a bit of advice–more like mean criticism yell at them. But he had better things to do, people to save, villains to get their asses destroyed by him. He was not going to waste his time with annoying brats like you.
He had heard of you, of course. The one brat that could control and handle freaking lava like it was fucking nothing. Of course when he saw you, he thought his sidekick had pulled a prank on him, joking to see if would be excited about the idea of having someone with that type of Quirk in his Agency. You couldn't be the one with the lava quirk. You looked... normal. Quirkless even–if this were other times and if he would judge people about it. He had changed, okay? Thank you very fucking much. But he did think it was impossible that you were that amazing brat the other heroes were talking about. They had even compared you to him, in witty and determination to become the number one Pro Hero on the ranks, in strength and no mercy against villains, or other heroes and classmates.
When he stood right in front of you one day, towering almost three heads over you and almost one more person's size to the side, Dynamight laughed. You looked like a little bunny caught red-handed, terrified by everyone around you–especially by the size of him–and skittish, almost like what Deku had been as a kid.
That should have been a first warning for Bakugou–never judge a book by its cover.
You have trained in his Agency the three years you had been in UA, and he has never once seen you nor your Quirk on display, nevertheless in real action. He had only heard how good you were in trainings from the other heroes. But he didn't care enough to actually sought-after. He was already fighting Deku for the number one spot on the rankings, he didn't have time for brats like you.
Until one day, a dangerous villain, that created enormous monsters of metal almost to the size of a ten flour building, was causing too much disaster appeared. It was more than chaos, it had been a destruction like no other.
Dynamight nor Deku could contain the motherfucker.
He was bruised, his hands beat with agony at the amount of times he had used his blasts and the push to keep going, his body muscles were screaming for him to stop. A quick glance to his side where Deku was, and the guy wasn't better than him, breathing like his lungs couldn’t no more. Every other hero in the scene was in the same shape.
They were fucking losing.
And then, like an angel sent from heaven–or better said, a demon sent from the deepest hell for the way you fucking looked, you appeared in all your majestic glory, lava making you slide in between them, surrounding you like it was nothing, like strings coming from inside your body, and began a new fight with that fucking villain's monsters.
Bakugou saw –an enamored expression on his face– how you your whole demeanor changed, your skin, your eyes, everything in you became so menacingly, so evil looking, so freaking scary, that if you weren't training to be a Hero, he thought you would be one the most terrifying villains of all times –even more than that piece of shit AFO.
The lava was visible in all your body, and you fought, a crazed smile and eyes opened wide, enjoying the damage you were doing to the metal monsters; your joy was shining bright for everyone to see, as you yelled, "DIE, YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!" as the monster melted under your hands and body.
He was captivated, fucking spellbound, by the sight in front of him. He fell to his knees, watching you melt every single one of the monster in one more movement of your hand, as lava flowed towards them, capturing and melting them as you stand straight, the expression on your face serious and deadly. You then walked towards the source, the main villain who was creating this chaos, and the guy literally fell to the floor in fear, trying to crawl away from you in tears. When you stood before him, you crouched to his level, and smiled devilishly.
The villain pissed his pants.
And Bakugou's cock twitched.
He then murmured, "I'm gonna marry the shit out that woman."
Deku chuckled, shaking his head and letting his body fall to ground in tiredness. Everything was okay now.
From then on, you were by Dynamight's side all the time. The second you graduated –Bakugou Katsuki of fucking course attended the graduation ceremony– he offered a job on his Agency for you. And you said yes, even though you had options like Deku's Agency, or Hawk's, and even Endeavor had offered you a big place on his, trying to win you by saying that most of his sidekicks were fire-like Quirks and that his mother had a Quirk similar to yours, he could ask her for advice for you. Bakugou's stomach turned thinking he might had won you over that. But before he could finish the sentence, "Would you like a spot on my Ag–", you exclaimed a big YES, smiling warmly and eyes shining in excitement.
He had to clear his throat and look away at your expression, making something tingle in his chest. Was that his heart?
You became his partner then, in missions, in interviews, in meetings with other Agencies when some big villain appeared and they had to join forces. You were always there, not behind him but next to him.
In interviews he would always let you speak about how everything went and thank every body who helped. But Katsuki would look at you. Look as the lava started to dissipate from your skin, slowly turning down the temperature and going back to your normal color. Your hair that became liquid lava slowly became the color of greyish-black rock and then smoothed its way to your normal texture and color. He always felt mesmerized watching the process, and he would look at it any opportunity he got.
It wasn't until one night out with his old friends that Pikachu said, "Dude, tone down your thirst a lil' bit," in between laughs with Raccoon Eyes and Shitty Hair.
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
Kirishima patted his back, shaking his head, "Your sidekick, man. The lava girl?"
"What?"
"What we are trying to say," Mina smirked, "is that everytime you look at her, its almost palpable the way you want to eat her."
Bakugou gulped. "Shut the fuck up. I don't look at her like that."
Mina winked at him, "If you say so..."
That night he searched on the internet in his phone for interviews, desperately. Fuck, his friends were right. He did look at you with a fascination and hunger he had never saw himself do. He remembered thinking about marrying you back in the days, but that had been the heat of the moment, right? This annoyed the shit out of him. But watching you again in those videos, as you smiled so kindly to the reporters or other Hero friends or to even civilians while looking so freaking scary when your Quirk was activated, made something stir inside his belly.
Fuck, you're gorgeous. You're everything he didn't know he wanted.
And that's when he decided he would not hide his feelings for you anymore.
So now, a few years after, when you are married to number two Pro Hero Dynamight, people always talk about how your husband always looks at you. How he always encourages you in your fights to "kill those fucking piece of shits, baby!!" as he is very close to you fighting his own set of shitty villains and you encourage him saying "show them who is the number two hero, love!" He looses it then, a blast that ends it all.
They talk about how he would always kiss you after a fight, even after all that adrenaline that makes him want to bury himself deep inside your warmth, he only holds your face gently, gloved thumbs caressing your cheeks lovingly, eyes locked onto each other like the world doesn't exist outside that moment, and he kisses you softly, a simple touch, a cute press of lips that lasts a millisecond so he doesn't burn the skin of his face and lips. And then he pulls one of your hands with his up in victory.
He didn't only win the battles, he won you each and every time he got to simply look at you, be next to you, kiss you.
He is obsessed with you, and he doesn't want to fucking hide it from the world.

The thing that doesn't make sense to me if Izuku resolved to kill is how it doesn't let them prove AFO wrong? AFO did his big reveal which only makes it clearer how deep the grooming went and it should've been time for Izuku to understand Tenko and Tenko to understand the abuse then reject the mindset forced onto him. But Izuku killing Tenko doesn't do that. Tenko just dies. It feels very wrong.
I guess Izuku just wasn't very interested in proving AFO wrong! Honestly, the only thing I immediately remember Izuku disputing the guy on was the same thing he disputed Shigaraki on: that he was anything more than a human being. AFO isn't a Demon King, but just a lonely man. Shigaraki hasn't transcended humanity; there's still a human somewhere deep inside of him. Izuku won't correct his allies' use of dehumanizing language for Villains, of course, but he's quick to push back when the Villains themselves self-aggrandize.
Sorry, I really only have withering disdain for Deku at this point. And I guess I don't really see any evidence that Deku was ever particularly driven by "proving AFO wrong." He wants to stop AFO, certainly, but that's because AFO is a monster who takes advantage of vulnerable people to maneuver them into doing Bad Things that advance AFO's Bad Plans and sets them onto Bad Paths that are difficult to walk back, not because he expressly opposes AFO on this or that ideological point about the nature of humanity and society.
(Hit the jump for the rest of a somewhat rambly reply.)
If anything, current evidence is that neither Deku nor the manga itself really do disagree with AFO about the frailty of humans, as expressed by Tsukauchi answering Deku's question about how to prevent future tragedies by shrugging and saying, "You don't, because life fucking sucks sometimes and that's just how it is. Our hands are completely tied on improving the system as we have it, so all we can do is punch out the Villains that appear in front of us to stop them from causing more harm."
That's also me being a bit harsh, of course. The fact that Deku is even still asking that question in the epilogue suggests that the manga hasn't reached its final answer yet, and maybe it will yet come up with something better! It doesn't have much time left, but it's still possible!
All the same, Deku is still having to ask that question in the epilogue because he never truly faced it over the course of the story. Never thinking about what Shigaraki as a person said in favor of fetishizing the Crying Child, never coming up with any kind of non-violent plan of attack or conversational approach, I have to ask what exactly about Shigaraki did Deku ever disagree with AFO on?
AFO, in the end, characterized Shigaraki as a puppet he molded exactly as he desired, a doll who he sculpted and programmed to act as he wished, a feeble child who has never made a single decision that AFO didn't cultivate him to make. So far as I can tell, Deku never really contested that framing. He didn't know the extent of it until the full reveal, of course, but Deku, like AFO, insisted on approaching Shigaraki solely through that "Crying Child" lens. He seemed to believe that nothing Shigaraki said or did on the surface really mattered (save as a reason that Shigaraki had to be stopped and potentially killed), that the "truth" of Shigaraki was that feeble little weeping boy who never grew up.
How could Deku possibly "prove AFO wrong" in that context? He doesn't even disagree with him! I mean, he's got some nice talk about how people deserve a second chance, sure; he says that people doing wrong doesn't make them Villains for the rest of their lives. What does do that, however - insofar as I can tell from how opaque the series keeps Deku throughout the final war - is refusing the hand out of the darkness. You stop being a victim and become a Villain for the rest of your life by choosing to remain a Villain even when offered an alternative (no matter how patently awful that alternative is).
Shigaraki chooses to remain a Villain and Deku doesn't have a counter for that because Deku never really got past the false binary represented by Villains and Victims to begin with. And I think the same goes for people who expected Shigaraki to just fold when he realized the extent of the grooming he'd undergone. Disallowing Shigaraki any agency in who he is and what he's done is defining him the same way AFO and Deku both did; when Shigaraki refuses to accept that framing, refuses to be a passive victim, the only thing left for him to be is a Villain. And when a Villain refuses to stop...
Well, Hawks already told us what the Heroes' answer to that is. "Someone has to die." As no one ever stepped up to prove him wrong, as far as the story is concerned, he isn't.
AFO always knew that victims can be turned into Villains with the right nudges; that's the whole reason for him cultivating "warped seeds" whenever and wherever he found them. Hero Society is - and always has been - much too rigid in its enforcement of the Hero/Villain/Victim narrative to effectively combat him. Crucially, Deku - the boy who wants to bring everything back just the way it was - doesn't disagree with him. He thinks AFO is an asshole for setting people up to fail, but he doesn't disagree about what failure means. So if AFO, Deku, and the story itself are all in agreement, what's even there for Deku to disprove?
Now, there is something that would prove AFO wrong, but it isn't something you can do while insisting on drawing lines to separate sad manipulated woobie victims who just need to be saved from awful unrepentant villains who just need to rot. It isn't something you can do while infantilizing Shigaraki Tomura.
The way to prove AFO wrong is to make room in society to help all Villains. Even if they aren't asking for it, even if they never ask for it, and even if they're jolly bastards who don't really deserve it! As long as there's a point at which it becomes okay to give up on trying to save Villains, Shigaraki will remain unsavable. He will insist on being unsavable. He could no more let that go than All Might could step aside and let AFO's attack kill an innocent at Kamino.
That's what it means to be a Hero for Villains.
Ultimately, what makes AFO right is that he knows that Hero Society makes it difficult if not impossible to uncross the victim-to-Villain bridge, and so anyone who does cross that bridge (with or without his influence) is that much more susceptible to him. Deku, in turn, thinks the only Villains he can save are those who drop everything and come sprinting as fast as they can back to the Hero side, so anyone who won't do that is someone he can't help.
Shigaraki refused to stop trying to create a better world for Villains. Toga refused to live in a world that would imprison her. Twice refused to give up on the friends no Hero would help. It's the same with every other Villain who refused to quietly endure their status quo: in a society that refuses to change how it treats Villains, anyone who won't submit to suffering in silence cannot be saved.
That's the paradigm AFO exploits, and Deku will never prove him wrong without resolving to change the paradigm first. We'll see if the last two chapters get him there.

"Canon" Perception: Why MHA's World Building SUCKS!
I figured I'd make this post because it's about time I discussed my views on "Canon" or as I like to call it
The Vanilla-verse
Why?
Because Hori's version of events feel like he opened a choose your own adventure game and clicked the most straight forward options available.
Quirk Awakenings Make No Sense (JJK mentioned)
@bibibbon might like this one.
It's no secret MHA's world building is, lackluster. It feels empty.
Characters not allowed to speak out or back against favored ones, Plot lines dropped, Victims shuffled off to the side.
But where Hori fails most of all is his power system:
But first Jujitsu Kaisen
Similar to Hori, Gege (I hope I spelled that right) also struggles with world building.
Firstly the concept of Cursed Spirits.
Monsters being created from "bad" or negative emotions can work as a concept. But it also heavily depends what is considered bad.
It could allow for the tackling of what makes emotions "bad" and tie in with the shows setting of a restrictive society that forces people to either mold to the pressure or be crushed by it.
Suppressing their true selves and emotions in favor of fitting in with the norm. (to evade social subjugation)
Instead, it demonizes what is a fundamentally intrinsic part of human existence, if nor most sapient life.
It also brings up too many questions that go unanswered: Like the historical implications. If spirits have been around for so long, then why aren't places like Japan (with it's bloody history and bleak present) overrun with then.
Why are spirits trying to replace humanity if humans act as the sole reason for their existance. After all: No Humans = No Cursed Energy = No Sprits
What exactly counts as a "negative" emotion and how much does it take to give birth to a cursed spirit. Stuff like that doesn't seem to have an answer.
[This is also coming from someone who has never interacted with JJK in their life]
Similarly Hori has the same problem with almost every detail in the Vanilla-verse. Stuff like: Eri's bullets, Quirk Singularity, Trigger and so, so much more is never elaborated on.
So pray tell, why did I chose Quirk Awakenings to be the subject of this section.
Because they prove that Hori has no idea what he is doing.
Quirk Awakening or QA's might just he the most frustrating thing in MHA. Doesn't matter if it's in Hori's-verse or someone else's.
It hardly fucking ends well and that's because it's so broad.
Take Himiko's quirk awakening.
At first glance, it seems alright. A tad off but not something to raise hell about.
That is until you look at her quirk.
Transformation is a quirk that relies on blood to work, Himiko cannot copy quirks partially because quirks are stored in the DNA of an individual and Transform can only copy the outward appearance of a person.
She needs to learn the individuals mannerisms and habits on her own, she doesn't achieve those by the default of her quirk.
(The same could be argued for her voice, it would be much more impressive if she trained it)
It would make much more sense then, for the evolution of her quirk to allow her to better mimic people. Expanding the scope of who and what she could change into and how accurately she could become a subject.
It also would fit the theme of 'becoming who you love' with the saying 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery'
Instead, though. Hori decided to make her AFO lite and it is broken.
If she copies AFO, does she obtain his quirks?
Would her quirk awakening account for other quirk awakenings. Say she transforms into Shigaraki would she be as strong as him post MVA or would she be stuck with USJ-level Decay?
Ignoring the blatant retcon-ex machina of it being dependent on Himiko's connection (not like it mattered during the Forest Camp Raid!), It is massively over powered and it doesn't fit Himiko's themes.
Now, let's look at Twice.
Twice's quirk (Double) allows him to produce identical copies of anyone through a sludge like substance that excretes from the palms of both his hands.
Each copy is a little weaker than the original, if a copy makes a copy then that fragility doubles.
Twice's quirk is ties to his character by his trauma. To the point he's so fearful of turning to sludge, that he actively goes out of his way to avoid conflict.
This guy had to watch himself kill himself, clone against clone and until MVA, Twice isn't even sure he's the original.
Twice's quirk awakening works.
It works solely because of Twice's character and themes, it simply fits.
It makes sense, Twice was so traumatized that he actively suppressed a part of himself and by breaking through that barrier he can begin to grow stronger by accepting himself.
Twice's quirk awakening works because the peice were always there. It wasn't that Twice pulled this out of his ass, he earned it.
He not only unlocked a part of himself, he came back stronger. In this way the formula works
Quirk + Effort/ Character Growth = Stronger Quirk.
Rather than replace or rebuild, Twice's QA works with what was already present and it comes off wonderfully.
I wish I could say the same for our next "challenger"
I have plenty of complaints about Shigaraki as a character, plenty.
His quirk awakening is certainly up there, not on the top. But it's up there.
It takes the weaker aspects of what I mentioned above and uses it as a crutch.
Besides Shigaraki remembering and accepting his past, this QA has nothing going for it.
It's almost boring.
There's only so much you can do with a quirk like Decay.
All it does is expand the speed and radius. And while that works for what Decay is, a quirk made to destroy things. It's really boring from a story perspective.
Seeing Deika and later Jaku was cool, but just that, cool. It only really served to push things forward and what it pushed was horrendous.
Stepping away from the narrative side, let's discuss the In-Universe side.
Post MVA Decay has two advantages. It spreads really fast and it makes things explode:
So why doesn't it work like Twice's did?
Themes. Nothing about Shigaraki's QA ties in with the themes expressed in MVA.
As the protagonist of the arc, we should feel a connection with Shigaraki, but we never do. Mainly because we don't get that much time with him.
Besided the bonding he does with the LOV we are given little reason as to why Shigaraki ticks like he does, there's little to no theme-ing with Shigaraki.
Doctor Garaki says it best with this line:
What does Shigaraki have to show us outside of his past and the PLF.
Hardly anything.
We know he's an avid gamer and likes to destroy things.
That's it.
Even Magne had something before she died, somekind of concrete goal that aligned with her character.
Tomura has nothing we can attach that to and as such his QA falls flat.
And this set the standard for every other quirk awakening in the series, no I'm not counting that monstrosity Hori bulled with Bakugo .
Uraraka's, Midoriya's, Shoto's (implied) Awakening, they all fall flat because they don't match the themes that were set literal years ago. Hori doesn't know how QA work despite having written them.
If your at the point where you, as a writer, don't understand your own in-universe system. Then maybe it's time you take away some stuff.
Why Shigaraki fails as a antagonist (featuring: Nine and Hana)
I already brushed the surface of this topic in the last segment. I'll elaborate on it here.
Shigaraki sucks as an antagonist. I don't like to use Reddit due to the attitudes on there but had found something while looking for information.
I managed to find a post that I think sums up my issues with Shigaraki pretty well, even if I don't agree the rest of the post (mainly blaming Shigaraki for Hori's failures)
The main one being what is the LOV even doing?
Spinner brings up a good point why do they even follow Shigaraki, what can he provide them as a leader that they can't get by sticking it out on their own.
Shigaraki is spoon fed practically everything and once you notice, it kills any possibility of him being taken seriously.
Let's see:
Dabi, Himiko: brought in by Giran, AFO's associate.
Spinner, Mangne, Compress: Came aboard under the false pretense that Shigaraki had cooperated with Stain.
Gigantomechia: Kurogiri has to draw him out, gets arrested while doing so.
The MLA: Has to gain a quirk awakening just to match ReDestro's output and ReDestro hands him the keys almost immediately. Only reason the merger happens is because ReDestro and Spinner planned it.
Every single goddamn thing in this story is because of factors external to Shigaraki. He literally stands around until Garaki gives him a new quest-line like a fucking Bethesda NPC.
It was understandable in the USJ because Shigaraki needed to be introduced. He was at his base form and needed to grow, except that growth never happens.
The story just dances around him, he doesn't need to try because Hori will just force things to happen.
The entire Jaku arc is him throwing a tantrum and the benefits just falling onto his lap. It is sheer luck that the public made that correlation.
Because the Nomu's behavior don't line up at all with Stains ideals. Nor does Shigaraki's "philosophy", and that was what partly triggered the whole Hosu arc in the first place!
Realistically nearly every member of the LOV should have turned tail the moment they met Shigaraki in person and spent time with him for over five minutes.
The LOV only exists and works because Shigaraki takes the backseat.
The entire Camp Raid, the focus is on everyone but Shigaraki who does fuck-all until Bakugo gets captured and we see him at the bar.
You could pluck Shigaraki from the arc and nothing would change because the central focus was on Dabi and the Vanguard Action Squad. How is anyone supposed to take Shigaraki seriously, when he is second fiddle to his own team.
And it's pretty much the same in the Overhaul Arc what does he direct contribute?
Again, nothing. I've heard the term 'Talk no jujitsu' used and it perfectly encapsulates his response to Himiko's anger.
No one in the LOV has any reason to believe him, to put faith in him because the fuck up was so colossal.
Let's review:
Shigaraki knew someone (someone important, a villain) was coming, made no plan if things went south. Dabi had actually left the base to recruit on Shigaraki's orders! Meaning that Shigaraki is primarily to blame for the casualties dealt during this fight.
Already bad, but maybe he does something to reaffirm their belief in him as a leader. Nope.
His revenge plan hinged on Overhaul not deciding to kill two of his team members on a whim, or use them as bargaining chips. Sends them directly into enemy territory with no resources.
Put his teammates on a position where they are forced to kill a hero in order to evade capture, making them a priority target for society at large* and further pushing them away from possible resources. (*A society, mind you that openly mutilates and kills outlaws)
His relationship with his team members is near non existant: from the Reddit Post
Spinner. Shigaraki plays videogames with him off-screen. Never even shows any concern for his whereabouts after Spinner starts losing his mind and almost goes full Nomu off of his quirks.
Kurogiri. Shigaraki never shows any wonder or comment as to Kurogiri's presence, despite the fact that Kurogiri was his babysitter for a long time and he apparently missed him after his capture.
Mr. Compress. Shigaraki never shows any wonder or concern as to his capture.
Dabi. Shigaraki never interacts with him in any way that suggests real friendship.
Toga. Shigaraki never interacts with her in any way that suggests real friendship.
Twice. Shigaraki never shows any kind of wonder or any concern as to his death.
Magne. Shigaraki never interacts with her in a way that suggests real friendship. Side Note: he never really reacts to her death either.
Y'wanna know who does have a relationship with his team?
Nine:
Nine might be one of the few characters Hori has ever created that managed to make me give a shit about them outside of alternative (or fanon) materials.
He is everything Shigaraki tried to be as a character:
A solid goal: To create an ideal world for his allies and himself where their idea of the 'strongest' rule.
Connections: Everything Nine does, he does himself. His teammates ate intertwined with hin through their history, he actually saved Chimera's life and it's implied he also did this for Slice and Mummy.
Effort: Nine puts himself in harms way numerous times for the sake of his allies and their mission. He even goes through with Garaki's experiments knowing he will likely wind up as the experiment himself.
Nine is phenomenal for what he was: A character from a spinoff movie.
youtube
And then he was killed.
God Fucking Damn it Hori.
===============================
Something that always bothered me about the defaced All Might statue was the laziness of it all.
In a way it reflected the direction MHA was headed, headlong into a kerosene coatdd dumpster.
I Am Not Here.
That's the best thing you could come up with? The falling action of the Arc and all you could conjure was that!?
When MHA ended, I said no, no fuck that and began putting some of the concepts I had made during MHA's decline to good use.
The logical conclusions went into Crownless Monarchy. Which serves as a continuation to what Hori failed for finish.
The rest?
The rest had been going into a side project of mine called:
I Am Nowhere
Or Nowhere for short.
Total Timeline Derailment is a phenomenon I noticed pop up in specfic works.
It occurs when an author throws out all stages of canon in favor of crafting their own story and shedding the limitations of the source material.
The story of Nowhere starts off modestly, following an alternative line of events where Hana's quirk causes a much larger scale massacre upon it's blossoming and the expands to show just how different this universe really is.
Such changes include: Hana's quirk being named and shown:
Soundwave: evolution of Nana's quirk and takes inspiration from Hana's name meaning (Flower)
Present Mic and Jirou losing their quirks in their youth (or as an infant in Jirou's case)
Himiko's parents making a deal with the Symbol of Evil himself.
Expanding upon Doctor Garaki's past and friendship with AFO.
The Yakuza going a different route (Overhual gets a new brother)
An alternate USJ: Christmas came early
AFO and Garaki both having successors.
And a ton of other things I need to flesh out more!
One may wonder what this has to do with my critiques on Hori's canon.
Besides being a pitch of sorts, this allows me to elaborate on how Hori seems to make mistakes one wouldn't expect of someone with as many years under the belt as Hori.
The one thing Hori always forgets is consequences. In Nowhere, Consequences are everywhere.
Enji shipping Rei off to the mental ward to cover up his abuse?
AFO takes interest and decides to pull some strings to get Rei transferred to Jaku General.
UA slacks on security?
Ok! Just let Hana bring Warmonger (USJ Nomu) along and have her kill Thirteen and nearly kill All Might in the same hour. Oh, and Himiko is playing the insider (of her own volition)
Bakugo rejects Midoriya's hand?
His abuses attract the attention of the Pale Sculptor herself, leading to him loosing both his parents in a "gas leak" ignited when Marsaru clapped his hands and caused an mini explosion to occur. [They get Rei's version of Nomufication] setting Nomufication forward by a decade in the process.
Ideally this story won't leave things out. Speaking of that I have one last thing to discuss
The whole debacle with the Winged Nomu and how some people don't know that it's apparently supposed to be Tsubasa
(yk the obscure character who only shows up twice and who we didn't get a name for until said reveal)
"What a Bomb to Drop", yeah it would have been better to "drop" it without needing to cram it into volume extras.
That right there is what gets me about Hori's writing, the lack of storytelling.
We shouldn't have an entirety different series just to understand why a character is they way they are (I'm looking at you Oboro)
I will say Vigilantes is leagues above it's parent series, even with the glaring flaws that plauge it.
Moral of the story: LEARN TO WRITE!

FINISHED WATCHING MHA MOVIE 2: HEROES RISING!!! SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED IT
OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS WAS SO GOOD YO HOLY FUCK I LOVE IT AAAAAAAAAAAAA
This was truly My Bakudeku Academia. Watching that final battle felt like a religious experience- as if I was watching the birth of Christ. Holy fuck if that really was the original ending, with Deku passing OFA to Kacchan, and the whole "Oh it actually stayed with Deku and Bkg got amnesia" didn't happen, this would have been a dramatically different story moving forward.
Horikoshi really loves Bakugou- like absolutely no question. The story following this kind of ending would be about him continuing OFA's legacy with the guilt of a thousand suns on his shoulders for "taking away" Izuku's dream. Izuku would have continued the hero course as an actual quirkless student. I would love to see aus of this being canon and continuing their story from there.
I'm guessing Nine here was supposed to be AFO, and he would basically be gone too. Katsuma is perfectly set up to be the next protagonist (I can already imagine him using Cell Regeneration as Super Regeneration- he could become invincible while also healing others. Incredibly amazing quirk).
NUMBER ONE COMPLAINT I HAD WAS ADDRESSED. THE REST OF THE CLASS ACTUALLY DO FEEL STRONG AND USEFUL AND EVERYTHING AS SHIT I LOVE IT AAAAAAAA
YES MY GIRL OCHAKO FINALLY HAS HER BIG MOMENT FLOATING SO MUCH DEBRIS!!! I'M SO HAPPY- EVEN JIRO, AOYAMA, SHOJI, TOKOYAMI AND MORE HAD LEGIT GOOD SCENES AND FIGHTS I'M SO FUCKING HAPPY YEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH THEY ARE SOOO COOLLLLL THEY GENUINELY GAVE IT THEIR ALL FUCK YEAHHHHH
(note. THAT WOLF GUY CALLED SHOJI UGLY- A FELLOW HETEROMORPH, CUS HE WAS PROJECTING HIS "MONSTER" ISSUES ON HIM HOW FUCKING DARE YOUUUUU)
THEY ALSO MAKE IT ACTUALLY MAKE MORE SENSE HOW THE WHOLE CLASS IS SEPARATED ON AN ISLAND TOGETHER AS A WHOLE CLASS THIS TIME TOO (and not just half like last movie). They even managed to tie it in to AFO, the LoV, and Hero Society. Like it actually feels more grounded and reasonable why the class would be here alone with supervision.
They even add hints of Touya Todoroki with him having a short battle with Endeavor, Hawks spying in the LoV, the HSPC head cameo, and other little things too. Man I loved this fucking movie I would watch it 10 more times right now.
#THIS WAS SRSLY MY BKDK ACADEMIA#I CANT IMAGINE HOW INSANE HORIKOSHI IS FOR IMAGINING THIS AS AN OG ENDING???#CUS WTF. IZUKU GENUINELY TRUSTS BKG SO MUCH IN WANTING TO BE THE NUMBER 1 HERO HES FINE WITH HIM HAVING OFA. WHAT#BKG WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATED AND WOULD DO THE SAME THING HE DID IN THE CANON ENDING NGL IF THIS HAPPENED#HE WOULD N O T LOSE IZUKU BY HIS SIDE BRO#IZUKU WOULD CONTINUE AND GRADUATE AS A LEGIT QUIRKLESS HERO EVEN EARLIER IN THE SERIES- WHAT THE FUCK LSKFJKJSD#OK IM JUST SO FUCKING HAPPY THEY GAVE OCHAKO MORE SHIT TO FLOAT LIKE GODDAMN#SHE WORKS SO WELL WITH TSU AND SERO HELL YEAH!!! IM SURPRSIED NO ONE DRAWS THEM TOGETHER MORE AS FRIENDS!!!#(guess I'm doing that now. tsk.)#I have moved on so much from my younger years bkg hate that seeing him succeed and do shit legit makes me so fucking happy-#thATS MY WINNING FIGHTING FUCKING KINGGGGGG#and Izuku being the absolutely selfless and darling sunshine he is and being so deranged in beating this dudes ass. always beautiful.#ily sm izukuuuu#also. brief TODOIIDA YAYYYYY THEY WERE SO BACK TO BACK IN BEATING THE CHIMERA DUDE LKSFLKSJK#yes kiri and tsu were also there and were Awesome- but u can tell its these two back to back#when iida reminds shoto to prioritize saving civilians with his hand on his shoulder yeAHHH thats their THEME RIGHT THEREEE#they both learned that together from deku and now are always fighting side by side fuck yeAHHHH#ok thats enough. i fucking love these movies. idc if theyre basic big selling fight scene crap and are shallow to most ppl#i care abt these kids and this world and its fucking heroes and villains n jackshit so much#if anyone stops me from enjoying this they can go suck their own dick and crack their neck trying. ha.#evelynpr bnha#bnha#mha#my hero academia#heroes rising#bkdk#bakudeku#izuku midoriya#bakugou katsuki

The fact that Kaina doesnt know the original AFO is dead during that snippet is so funny, all she can think about is that this tiny child is the terrifying monster that the commission was terrified of.
Eri is here for a new ally and possible new mom and Tsutsumi has no goddamn idea what in the fuck is happening I love it

Symbol of Peace/Symbol of Fear
I've read a lot of callous takes on All Might from fans who are otherwise sympathetic to Tomura (and vice versa)-- which is sad, because I feel these characters are meant to be viewed as two sides of the same coin. It's not much of an exaggeration to say that a good bulk of the story/conflict is built on top of their crumbling bodies. It's also not much of an exaggeration to say that the resolution to this story hinges on them both being allowed to heal.
Toshinori and Tenko are both victims who were repeatedly failed by the adults around them, and are now both adults who are stuck in roles that perpetuate the same cycle that wounded their childhood selves. Their particular traumas regarding identity/loss and how they've been taught to cope with pain (that is to say, not at all) doesn't allow either of them to truly be "complete" people-- instead, they shut away core aspects of themselves and attempt to lose themselves in their respective roles in a futile attempt to run away from their wounded selves. Toshi throws himself into the role of All Might, Tenko throws himself into the role of Shigaraki Tomura-- But Toshi and Tenko still haunt every aspect of this story, and their inability to completely vanish into their alter egos remains a source of pain before it ever becomes a source of strength for them.
One of MHA's biggest messages is about the importance of society's most vulnerable people having access to good social support-- so it's no surprise that Toshi and Tomura's feelings of isolation end up fueling their blind pursuits of peace/destruction. They both gorge themselves on a fantasy they think will fill them, but are never full-- at least, not until they start allowing other people in their lives who can see beyond their respective hero/villain masks and understand that what's behind those masks is someone who desperately needs help.
Brief(ish) Thoughts on the Gravity of Their Designs
"Starvation" is very much the theme of the hour for both characters-- both characters are introduced to the series in severely emaciated, malnourished states. Toshi's true form is literally skin and bones, with his stomach having been ripped from his body by AFO. Tomura is depicted as frequently vomiting from sheer stress and suffers from nearly constant nausea-- during his debut, he's so malnourished that you can literally see the outline of his spinal column. They're both unkempt and unhealthy looking (with Tomura's clothes being visibly tattered/frayed around the collar and shirt/pant cuffs in a particularly infuriating bit of visual story telling-- AFO UR FUCKING LOADED WHY IS HE WEARING RAGS I'LL KILL YOU🗡️🗡️🗡️)
MEANWHILE, AFO himself is depicted as a cannibalistic, gluttonous, greedy monster who gorges himself on the misfortune of others and spares no expense whatsoever when it comes to maintaining his own health-- all while remaining well dressed and well groomed. Hori's art direction is simple but highly effective in how it indicates who the real enemy is, while also indicating that Tomura and Toshinori secretly share a mortal foe with one another.
Less seriously, Toshi & Tomura's muscle forms are both shams lmao.
Nana's Boys-------------------------------
God, Tomura is SUCH a fucking grandma's boy and he doesn't even know it. 😭 😭 😭You too, Toshinori. Hate u both! ❤
For all her flaws and mistakes, Nana still remains a major influence in Tomura and Toshinori's lives-- She is a source of pain for them both, but also serves as a source of strength for Toshinori and a source of deeply repressed hope for Tenko. She is the unbreakable binding thread that connects Toshinori and Tenko together as "family". Nana is also completely inextricable from the origin of both boys:
There's also the ever creeping implication that all the traits Tomura latched onto with AFO actually originated from Nana and Toshinori-- the concept of an inviolable "origin" that defines you, donning an invincible smile that hides your pain/fear, pushing past your limits by remembering why it is you swing your fists. AFO intended for both his "teacher persona" and his lessons to be a dark, twisted mockery of Nana-- but Tomura still "found" Nana in those lessons and then used them to take the first step towards breaking free.
Y e a h.
Nevertheless, Tomura can't bring himself to take the next step towards being saved until someone starts to challenge him a bit more on what his origin actually *IS* . Izuku, that's ur cue.
The Kamino Incident---------------------
mmm cinnamontography......
Kamino and its immediate aftermath is definitely the meat and potatoes of Tomura and Toshi's connection, and the story is STILL reeling from the aftershocks of this arc. AFO gleefully picks up his pen and proceeds to write Tomura and Toshi into a corner they can't escape from on their own, setting the stage for the rest of the series.
It's all but confirmed through AFO's actions and internal dialog that Kamino was a set-up meant to retraumatize Tomura and Toshinori by recreating the worst moments of their lives, while also permanently putting them at odds with each other-- AFO takes himself off the playing board willingly in a way that's deliberately meant to resemble Nana's sacrifice while also ripping Tomura's trauma about not being saved wide open. My guy played the longest con specifically so he could create a hell specifically tailored to these two, then gave them both time to "pick themselves up and dust themselves off" just so he could knock them both down AGAIN in an even MORE spectacularly traumatizing way a few months later. (I am once again encouraging people to reread MHA while actually paying attention to AFO this time and while acknowledging that Tomura and Toshinori are his victims, because the dude's a fucking FANTASTIC villain)
All Might and Tomura both get their "masks" forcibly removed in a way that's meant to humiliate them and expose their pain/humanity, which causes them to both bury themselves even deeper in their hero/villain roles and further away from each other. AFO depends on Toshi's hero mask and role as a "symbol" being the very thing that won't allow Toshi to save Shimura Tenko. Kamino is to Toshi what MVA is to Tomura-- an awful tragedy that shackles both men to their masks, masquerading as a good ol' high-energy shonen beatdown.
AFO: Hey can I copy ur homework lol
Name a bigger "Ohhhhhhh This Bitch (ʘ‿ʘ)" moment
AFO gets a sick pleasure out of masquerading as a savior and turning others into the "villain"-- he has always delighted in dragging others to his level, in bringing the absolute worst outta them, in watching them make all the same decisions *he* would make without him having to force his hand, in stealing the light from their eyes so they look just as dull and unhappy as his, in making others "another him".
Tomura is an obvious example, but Toshi himself is also a victim of AFO's particular brand of perversion (for lack of a better word)-- Kamino has AFO turning Toshi into "another him." All MIght is turned into "the villain" who takes Tomura's beloved master away from him, just as AFO took Nana away from Toshinori. All Might inflicts the same trauma he went through onto Tomura, while AFO takes a bow and proceeds to laugh himself all the way to the bank Tartarus.
(Seriously, tho-- reading "All Might: Rising" and the Kamino arc back-to-back and realizing that AFO's dramatic sacrifice was *literally plagiarized* is probably one of the biggest doses of fridge horror in the entire series-- it immediately throws EVERYTHING about Kamino and AFO's relationship with Tomura into question.)
*enraged chimpanzee shriek* THE WAY HE PRETTY MUCH SAYS EXACTLY WHAT HIS PLAN IS BUT THE PLAN WAS SO FRIGGIN INCONCEIVABLE THAT NO ONE PICKED UP ON IT. FUKX>.
From AFO's perspective, Toshi's rise to power as "The Symbol of Peace" was shaped by his rage and the loss of his beloved master. This blind hatred eventually allowed All Might to corner and "kill" AFO. AFO takes his notes and ultimately sets Kamino up to mirror Nana's sacrifice, turning Toshinori into the figure who fuels Tomura's blind hate-- which kick-starts Tomura's development into "The Symbol of Fear" in earnest. He then spends 90% of his meeting with Toshi in Tartarus talking in bullshit riddles that are ultimately meant to mock Toshi-- He's basically saying "look a little closer buddy, that's you! :)" and then ominously chuckling to himself when Toshinori completely fails to pick up on what he's actually saying.
"wait so all that talk about Tomura growing and developing into a symbol and learning how to use his rage was just AFO being a perverted freak about Toshinori/All Might?" ALWAYS HAS BEEN!
AFO "writes" an "evil" version of All Might he has complete control over, then self-inserts himself into that version of All Might. Oh, and it's also a version of his brother who "willingly" submitted to him and was totally stoked walk the path of evil with him. Oh, and it's also a vessel that has the blood of Shimura Nana running through him, who happens to be the object of AFO's strangely charged derision.
Fellas, Freud would have a fuckin' field day.
>This Action Will Have Consequences.
Toshi's kneejerk reaction in the aftermath of Kamino is to chase after Tomura, to approach him as "Shimura Tenko". His first reaction is to act on his feelings as Toshinori, not as All might. Gran Torino shuts this down immediately, shoving both Toshinori and Tenko back into the hero and villain boxes and refusing to let them remove their "masks." Toshi's fear of Gran Torino is funny, until it isn't-- he buckles immediately and defers to Torino's will like a scolded child.
Gran Torino claiming “It doesn’t matter who he’s related to” in a series where familial relationships are frequently used to humanize its characters is a particularly backhanded way of dehumanizing Tomura (especially since the death of their families was the catalyst that caused both Toshi AND Tomura to start dehumanizing themselves).
Gran Torino immediately brings Toshi's "role" as All Might back up as a means of silencing him. Reading between the lines of this scene, Toshinori is essentially being told that he isn't allowed to take off the hero mask, that he isn't allowed to act on his feelings as Toshinori. Toshi is told that he can no longer act as the symbol of peace, but in the same breath, he's told that he can't ever STOP being the symbol of peace-- it's subtle, but this dissonance is what causes him to start slowly spiraling throughout Acts 2 & 3.
In Kamino's aftermath, Tomura and Toshi are both left feeling hollow and directionless. AFO mostly succeeds in hollowing out Tomura, who spends the beginning of Act 2 as a sullen and depressed mess until he finally snaps during the events of MVA. Toshinori, however, is lucky to have people in his life who begin to fill him up again with little acts of love for who he is outside the "Symbol of Peace" mask.
Toshinori, Rising.
MHA has been about Izuku's growth into someone capable of saving Tomura, but it's also been about Toshinori's growth into someone who can live outside his alter ego and finally become the sort of hero his childhood self wanted to be-- someone who breaks the cycle of grief turning into hatred. Yagi Toshinori WANTED to be the type of hero who could save Shimura Tenko, more anything. And if Hori sticks the landing with Toshinori and Tomura's arcs, then we're going to see some massive pay off in the coming chapters.
The series supports the underlying implication that Toshi's initial impulse to go after Tomura and treat him as Shimura Tenko was the correct one, and that not going after him was ultimately a massive mistake-- and Toshi has gradually been developing into someone who can now act on that impulse without being shouted down or shoved back into a box.
Side note: I feel that people who are insisting that Toshi is gonna die are severely underestimating how important Toshi and Tomura actually are to each other's respective arcs-- Killing Toshi before he gets to meet Tomura again leaves a big part of his arc unfulfilled. It also compromises Tomura's arc and MHA's message about the importance of good social support and family in saving society's most vulnerable people-- Yagi Toshinori becomes a hero that surpasses All Might through helping Tomura, and fulfills his dream about breaking the cycle of grief and hatred. Tomura gains the closure and social support he needs to finally start healing alongside what is basically his only remaining family (on a spiritual level!).
On that note.....
"You're Just Like All Might, Ten-chan."
*gazes pointedly at the SMAAAASH* Oh, Tenko.....
When Tomura/Tenko gets pushed to his mental breaking point during the UA Fortress Battle, he manifests the biggest targets of his grief and anger to "protect" him. Tomura twists his form into a childish interpretation of All Might-- one that exists solely to protect him-- then unleashes several "SMASH"es on the heroes. Tomura betrays himself and his true desires through this form more than any other.
The unstated implication scattered throughout the entirety of MHA is that Tenko has always been waiting for All Might to "finally show up and save him," but All Might never came. It's the core of the tragedy between these two. Tomura's ""hatred"" of All Might is fueled by extreme unprocessed grief, as always-- the same cycle that Toshinori dreamed of breaking when he was a child.
Midoriya Izuku's "Role"
NOTICE: THIS IS A SET. DO NOT SEPARATE. (side note: Tomura touching All Might's screen while delicately raising his pinky to avoid destroying it.... I can see u bitch.)
Izuku is Tomura's hero for the same reason that Izuku is Toshinori's hero. Through Toshinori's relationship with Izuku, he learns that his life always had meaning, that he always had a role outside of being "All Might." He learns that it's okay for him to keep living as Yagi Toshinori, and that his "origin" didn't disappear when he lost One For All-- it's easy to see how Izuku's role in helping Toshi reconcile his identity and heroic origins ultimately bleeds into his arc with Tomura.
Izuku and Tomura learn how to define heroism and villainy through each other. Both boys start off with a vague, poorly-defined goal of wanting to save everyone/destroy everything-- and both goals are equally shallow/unattainable, at first. Thinking about those "goals" too deeply means confronting an aspect of themselves that's still wailing in pain-- they only begin to confront those feelings and the origin that fuels them through their repeat contact with each other.
All Might is the one who gave Tenko and Izuku's idea of heroism its "shape"-- but Tomura is ultimately the one who helps Izuku define his idea of heroism by forcing Izuku to repeatedly examine that definition each time they encounter each other. And Izuku the one Tomura's mind instinctively drifts towards when he thinks about about "some hero"-- he's the one who consistently motivates Tomura to struggle and claw himself back to the surface from the depths of the Demon King role. If "hatred" is what allows AFO to maintain his control over Tomura, then why was Tomura able to wrench back control after Izuku asked for him? Why was he able to resist when AFO attempted to unleash decay at the very beginning of the final war arc? Because there's something other than hatred fueling him right now. Tomura's truth, as always, lies firmly between the lines and under about seven different layers of misdirection (and yes, this is just a purple-prosey way of calling him a fucking tsundere /derog).
what do u guys think they were feeding toshi at the orphanage
Toshinori gets his mask removed, but learns that it's okay for him to live without it and that lesson brings him closer to his origin than he's ever been before. He is finally "reborn" as a fully formed human, not as a symbol. And with that being said, *points at Shigaraki Tomura*

Ever notice that villains are held to higher standards than the heroes both in the series and often the fandom?
Where if someone is labelled a villain they must be a saint who has never so much as raised their voice at anyone, or they'll be treated like an irredeemable monster.
But if they get the hero label, they can constantly threaten murder and assaulting people for the pettiest shit (aka Bakugou), endanger people and cause mass property damage (Bakugou again, and Endeavor, he literally didn't care if he killed a vigilante in the sister series Vigilantes) or break the law for shits and giggles (Miriko, Vigilantes, repeatedly going to fight clubs as a student just for fun, which at least back then her opponents were somewhat consenting).
The heroes are excessively violent often being worse than the actual 'villains' Does anyone remember the double assault of that purse snatcher in the first episode? Including Mt. Lady violently attacking them, a purse snatcher, after they had already been apprehended (And literally contained) by Kamui Woods.
Deku violently attacks Gentle Criminal and La Brava, who he knows are non-violent, and very appearance-based in their crimes, cause of oh no the school festival for the school that has been continuously failing to protect their students might get cancelled. He never made any attempt to tell them what will happen if they crash it, just immediately jumped to 'I better break their bones'
Hawks doesn't even pause his conversation with Endeavor when once again violently apprehending a streaker (in the general public, this wasn't targetting individuals or children). He could of easily just kept the trench coat closed and questioned them, but the heroes ALWAYS jump to violence and escalation.
I didn't even need to use the League/Front or comb through the chapters to get three blantant examples in the main series alone
And as with cops in the real world (and a large part of why I take this so seriously), they are the ones who have received training to deal with conflict. They are the ones that should be expected to be better, as they have supposedly been trained
---
Recently in my A Moral Scapegoat For Who? I got in a bit of a debate, where the other person immediately was going in with 'well the villains aren't actually deep' I never said in that post that the villains were blameless or deep, I was literally talking about using AFO as a scapegoat for them, my point about the villains was they are right (and I thought the following thought was obvious enough that I didn't have to say it but "and they shouldn't be, so what are you going to do?". Second, while later in the debate they say they also think the heroes were shallowly written, they only held the villains in my pretty neutral (all things considered) rant accountable in their first reblog. But we had 1 volume focusing on the villains, and 30+ focusing on the heroes. So even if we agree with them on they are equally shallow/deep (for sake of arguement) the villains (specifically the League) got the same amount done, with only one volume and small tidbits fragmented across the rest of this very long series, that the heroes took over 30 to do. One would typically expect the protagonists to have more characterization than the villains.
In the actively antagonistic, we constantly see "Oh but their suffering doesn't justify their actions! OwO" Which once again as I have said before What the fuck are/were they supposed to do? Second, care to hold the heroes to even a fraction of that standard? Endeavor openly doesn't care if he kills a known and well liked Vigilante if he (the Crawler) gets in the way of killing the villain he's going after, he did not hesitant to kill during the nomu attack, and his high-end battle, where the nomu was fully capable of speech. That is just some of his shit, on the job, I haven't in this whole thing even touched on his dispicable off-duty activities.
The villains are taking their actions from a place of being disadvantage, the heroes a place of extreme power.
Part of why I like the villains is that they are exaggerating how bad they are, so they are either delivering on what they've said, or they are doing better. The heroes are lying about how good they are and expecting constant praise, even if they aren't demanding the praise be personal they are demanding praise. Deku seeing the UA press conference after they literally just had a student kidnapped, multiple injured, at least one child from fucking elementary school almost killed, is shocked and disturbed that the media would dare critise them.
I have noticed that, all the time.
All of this is very true and very well written.
So much so that I don't think there's anything I can, or need to, add to it.

chapter's out! I read it. It sucked.
random thoughts:
so many things wrong I don't even know where to start
Have to restate that Deku has never given a single fuck about Shigaraki. Yeah, he might have cared a little about the Crying Child (because whose heartstrings wouldn't be tugged by a cute, weepy five-year-old?), and he avoided agreeing when people talked about killing Shigaraki, but overall, he's always been aloof and honestly disdainful towards Shigaraki. The latest proof is that Shigaraki's body is falling to pieces and Deku keeps on smashing. He's fighting AFO, true, but he knows Shigaraki is possessed, he knows that's Shigaraki's body, yet he spares not a thought about what might come afterwards once he defeats AFO. Will Shigaraki have a body to return to? Is it saving when the body Shigaraki returns to is pulverized, mostly because Deku did that? Questions Deku never asks, never considers. What a compassionate Hero.
Further evidence being that it seems like Kurogiri created a portal to divert Deku's attack in order to protect Shigaraki Tomura from his punches. While also asking for AFO to give Shigaraki Tomura back BECAUSE HIS FRIENDS ARE WAITING FOR HIM. The only real Hero of this chapter is Kurogiri.
So yeah, why not have Bakugou bomb Kurogiri so Deku can land the killing blow.
The 'you're not an incomprehensible monster, you're just a sad lonely man' line is there really as a cliché, an obligatory 'Nominally Nice Protag Probably Should Not Act Like Some People Are Innately Chaotic Evil And Should Be Exterminated'. I mean, it's obvious that AFO was a pathetic guy who's been obsessively mourning his brother and can barely make real friends. But when has Deku ever spared a thought about AFO and his motivations? When has Deku even cared about people not being incomprehensible monsters, besides vaguely wanting to know what Shigaraki's damage is (but never enough to RESEARCH or ASK)?
I do like AFO screaming at Yoichi's ember. Pathetic man. <3 Don't understand why, if he did kinda cared about Yoichi in his own twisted way and was desperate to have Yoichi back, he needed to fake his tears to 'cause confusion and dismay' in front of Kudou. What was that?
I joked about Shigaraki coming back from the shattering pretty chill but it sucks. It sucks ass. What the fuck. Sure, let's have Nana and him (maybe???) reconcile off-screen (or not really, because it seemed to be unconscious vestige weirdness, since Shigaraki has to wonder if it was grandma keeping him whole later). Sure, let's have him share the moment with everyone when he has more right than anyone to deal the final blow, especially after the shattering five chapters ago, because he should also have a moment when he reclaims his life and purpose from AFO. Sure, let's have him just give up.
My sole, tiny half-relief is that it doesn't seem like Shigaraki is so much agreeing/being ~enlightened~ by Deku's assessment of him as a Crying Child (who only ever needed a hug uwu, please carry him into the light of Heroes and teach him how to love again uwu) as conceding that because he failed to destroy anything, he failed to crush Deku's hand, he was just a crying brat after all. His conviction lost against Deku's. The use of 'brat' is significant, I think. He's not elevating his child-self into some pure innocent existence; he was a tantrum-throwing brat with unresolved issues. Adding his last words to Spinner, in the end, he still considered his destruction valid (because it was. He needed to be a Hero for the Villains.)? My interpretation.
But really the writing and progression is so unexplored and confusing and rushing towards a conclusion - he doesn't get to reflect on the reveal???????? what the fuck???????? - it's hard to say.
God he deserved better.
As much as I love the Spinaraki, wish he did address the rest of the League 😭 But it does make sense he might single Spinner out, to complete their gay little friendship story thread. And out of everyone, Spinner - most devoted to him - would probably need words of comfort most. but frustrating. and as @robotlesbianjavert mentioned, we never get a Shigaraki + League scene or union post-MVA.
fuck he better not be dead. he needs to be a Hero for the villains. Especially with fucking Deku as the new face of new gen Heroes.
Deku is the worse. fuck that kid.

You know? I think the whole "All Might is Midoriya father figure" is almost entirely made up by the fandom rather than what the actual story tell us, and that is speaking of the main manga or what Horikoshi writes himself not spinoff and derived canon media.
Because is there a single time in which All Might and Deku show the kind of intimacy and love a father should have for his son and vice versa?
I can't think of something like that outside maybe the dark deku arc when A.M gives him the bento boxes, and even that count as the bare minumum considering most people are obssesed with the idea of A.M being a father figure.
Also they really don't interact that much (or at all) outside anything related to OFA or hero stuff. At least to me they should have some kind of casual interaction as Izuku and Yagi rather than just A.M and Deku.
Combine all this with the fact Midoriya never in the whole series express any feeling about the lack of a father figure in his life and how awkward A.M is for interact with him, it's difficult to take seriously the idea of "Dad Might".
Hi @nyc3
You hit the nail here, have you noticed how regardless of the story the fans will designated characters to be the mom or dad of the group? And it's sad people create this fanon where AM is big dad for Izu when...in canon...if we haven't got his thoughts we wouldn't even believe he likes Izu.
I do think thanks to what canon shows...Izu got the quirk by a mix of AM being too stubborn (and stupid, sorry am fans this man IS stupid) and nighteye's creepiness. There's nothing that justify why give a quirk to Izu...and I say this as someone who likes Izu and hate the bashing he gets.
Izu has no real relationship, none whatsover and we aren't meant to see that nor really care. His pain is a gag.
The whole AM and Gran relationship is a gag and it hurts the characters. "What you mean?" Think this way, am has a big quirk ans gave to this QUIRKLESS boy who has no support and his quirk HURT him majorly ...am knows someone else who can help Izu...his response? Be silent until Izu has no internship offer and then you mentioned your mentor...you mention your mentor as this cruel monster who will torture you for lols.
Gran torino is not like that (not saying he is perfect, but we didn't see anything that would justify AM be afraid of him. "Could have change" possible, but this also make AM look bad, Gran changed and is willing to help Izu...what has AM done?)
We also don't know how Gran trainer AM, keep in mind how the man was also sent to the US.
Am has little relationship, he has one with Naomasa but it's funny as he suggested Izu to be a cop and sort, unitentally, talk trash about the job. Which makes me wonder if AM sees Naomasa's job as less....maybe not intentionally.
Izu knows nothing about the man. He knows his name thanks to Gran....keep in mind he was trained with AM to gain muscles for 10 months! (I have issues with that training montage. I can now say how it represent how Izu will be treated in this story. He cleans a beach, no one gives a fuck- he see fans being all over am and no one cares about the teen cleaning the beach- and gets no reward...the whole "heroes don't do things to get reward IS bull and rich coming from a man that is mega famous and rich as AM)
At times, I get the am bashing (but loathe as they chose to make Aizawa or afo better. Like AM is just an idiot...Aizawa and Afo are malicious)
I find sad bc Izu really has no one. His mother is.....Inko. His father is dead and Mia for all we know, friends? Hahahahajahahahaaha not in canon. shig? Never even attempt to know smth about Izu...
Hori shows to you...Izu is a loser, later makes him saying that. And we aren't meant to conclude Hori hates his own mc ? (Don't worry, hori hates Shig too)
#hori is a bad writer#a really bad one#izuku deserves better#shig deserve better#mha critical#bnha critical#anti bakugou#my god this is a story where the mc is shit for daring to exist#am critical#no dadmight in canon

The octopus Shig and Human Dabi prompt was phenomenal. I love that you went feral over it. I love how Shig is just a guy who wanted a peaceful swim but ended up having to deal with a suicidal idiot instead. Dabi figuring out that he wants to live after his little near drowing and then ending up in a fuck or die situation is so good.
The detail at the end of them never returning to the beach was just so good. What caused Shig to go to that beach and then to keep returning in the first place?
(Endevour being marked as a minor side character made me giggle)
Thank you so much! That one made my brain go Brr like crazy and I'm so happy that it hit for you!
So in this world, I was working off the headcanon that AFO died after the fight with All Might when Tomura was about 16. He gave his quirk to him in a last ditch effort to survive by jumping into his body, but he was so weak that Tomura overpowered him and as soon as he realized he was just a tool for AFO, Ujiko, and Kurogiri, he took everything he could get his hands on, cut ties with them, and started to build his own empire. He'd been going to that beach for about 5 months to learn how to turn his aquatic quirks on and off and practice with them because it was private and a dangerous place to swim. He only didn't let Dabi die initially because he didn't want to have to deal with his body and lose his swimming spot. When Dabi showed up again the next day to try, he decided this was absolutely weird, but it was interesting enough to hold his attention, and he wanted to see how far this would go. The reason he escalated things at the end of the month was because he was going to be moving bases soon and wouldn't be able to come back to the beach anymore and he'd gotten attached to Dabi. He figured he'd either become a monster to Dabi by assaulting him, a his deliverer by killing him, or his partner by saving him and he didn't have anything but a bit more of his humanity to lose, so he went for it.
(Endeavor being the dead minor character is 100% the 'this ain't about him' meme)
Thanks so much for commenting!

Question for the monster fuckers.
Context for non-my hero academia monster fuckers:
AFO is a 200+ year old guy who's quirk is stealing & gifting quirks (mostly the first). He's ruined millions of lives, is horribly disfigured, can't live without a dozen of those quirks as well as regular tech like a respirator, and his quirks give him various powers including various extra-human anatomy.

Villain?Izuku
Think I sent an ask about how Kurogiri could end up at UA with everyone, but I just had the thought of, like. So, AfO isn’t exactly keeping Izuku under lock and key. Izuku has likely MET most of the LoV. So I’m just imagining:
(I’m gonna add my notes in italics on this one!)
*
Izuku and Himiko
Himiko: Well, my Quirk makes me a monster.
Izuku: *long, detailed diatribe about why that’s bullshit*
Himiko: But, but I drink blood!
Izuku: Pretty sure you need to do that to be healthy. I bet I can prove it! Will you let me try?
Himiko: Uh, ok?
Izuku: *yoinks her Quirk* How do you feel?
Himiko: I’m … not hungry???
Izuku: And I’m suddenly starving! Point proven! But while we’re like this, would you like to know what your blood tastes like?
(Izuku just! Loves Quirks and loves every Quirk there’s no ‘bad’ Quirks to him!!!)
*
Izuku and Jin
Izuku: So, I’m pretty sure you’re real, I mean, I couldn’t take your Quirk from one of your clones, right? Plus, I broke the finger on one of your clones, and it vanished immediately, so-
Jin: *breaks his finger*
Izuku: OH MY GOD ARE YOU OK!?
Jin: Hey, I’m still here! I AM real!
Izuku: YOU DIDN’T NEED TO BREAK YOUR BONES HOLY SHIT-
(Izuku knowing him for like a week and figuring out exactly how his Quirk works is on brand lmao)
*
Izuku and Compress
(How it started)
Compress: -which is why my ancestor was one of the great thieves of- are. Are you taking notes?
Izuku: Of course! This is FASCINATING!!
(How it’s going)
AfO: Alright, Mr. Compress, do you know why I called you in?
Mr. Compress: I honestly have no idea.
AfO: I’m aware you taught my son poker. You then took him out to a Shie Hassakai gambling parlour, where he proceeded to clean out everyone who wasn’t working there. He is now buying every piece of All Might merchandise he can find.
Compress: … just to be clear, you’re mad about the All Might merchandise - NOT the fact that I taught Izuku poker, in fact, how to CHEAT at poker, or took him to an underground casino run by the yakuza?
AfO: When I said he couldn’t spend his allowance on All Might memorabilia, I was NOT expecting one of you to furnish him with another source of income!
(the skewed morals lmao. Also I feel like AfO would only have beef with it because it’s All Might. Any other Hero? Okay fine. But All Might? Really????)
*
Izuku and Magne
*for whatever reason, lots of time spent making scale models and doing puzzles. Cooking. Discussing the bullshit that is women’s clothing.*
(Izuku has vague recollections of how fashion works thanks to spending so much time at Kacchan’s house as a kid. He doesn’t /utilize/ any of this information but he has it!!)
*
Izuku and Spinner
*several sessions of intense bonding via video games. Spinner teaches him to throw knives*
(Give the boy knives!! New skill unlocked!!!)
*
Izuku and Kurogiri
The weary uncle looking after his hyperactive nephew.
(it’s great because Kurogiri has known Izuku since AfO brought him home and like. That’s his kid now too damn it!)
*
Izuku and Tomura (a summary)
Video games. Arguments about nothing. Nightmares weathered together. Getting on each others nerves.
Izuku: You should ask Spinner out, he’d totally say yes.
Tomura: *spluttering as he drives His character off a cliff* Wha- Who says I like that overgrown lizard!?
Izuku: Uh, you do? He’s all you’ve written about in your diary for the past three months.
Tomura: Ok, first of all, it’s a JOURNAL, not a DIARY, and second, YOU READ MY FUCKING JOURNAL!?!?
(late at night)
Izuku: Tomura?
Tomura: What?
Izuku: … do you miss your family? Your first one. Before Dad.
Tomura: … why.
Izuku: … I miss my mom.
…
Tomura: Yeah. Me too.
(Oh that HURT. Also you know that post about someone making a minecraft world and having a chest buried in the middle of the ocean that just has a notebook with their crush’s name on it? That has Tomura energy).
*
AfO: I have a plan to get the girl with the Rewind Quirk, but the best option involves Izuku. Hmmm. Well, maybe this will finally be a chance for us to bond over criminal activity … but his safety! Well, that League of Villains of Tomura’s is coming along nicely, they’ll make fine bodyguards! And surely their undying loyalty to both Izuku and myself will mean they’ll bring him back to me, where he will be safe!
*
(One miraculous escape via yakuza fight later…)
*knock on door*
Nezu: *opens door* … ah. The League of Villains, yes?
Kurogiri: Correct. Principal Nezu I presume? It’s an honour to meet you. We’re here about Izuku?
Nezu: I see. And you’re aware he has no desire to go back?
Kurogiri: Ah, you misunderstand. We have no desire to take him back.
Nezu: ?
Kurogiri: Our last order, just before the plan with the Shie Hassakai went into effect, was to keep Izuku safe while he was away from All for One. There was no mention of a time limit on that order, or HOW we were to keep him safe. In fact, given that All for One seems to be gearing up for another go around with All Might, well. It seems to us that Izuku would be safest far out of the line of fire. I see no reason why we can’t protect him here as well as anywhere, if this is truly where he wants to be. Might we come in to discuss the matter with you?
Nezu: Certainly! Why don’t you all come in?
(okay that’s the funniest option lmao. But also Izuku getting the LoV to reform via the power of friendship is always great)
(Also you don’t mention him BUT- Izuku absolutely clocks who ‘Dabi’ is pretty much immediately because he’s a nerd like that. May poke and prod at Dabi’s daddy issues because ‘fuck man I know a thing or two about complicated ‘loves you but is toxic af’ father-son relationships!’)

YANDERE!All For One.
A horrifying concept! Thanks, we (love) hate it!
He is ALREADY dangerous enough. Unhinged enough. Having his complete and undivided attention? His INTEREST? His fucked up, Machiavellian, sociopathic lil squirrel brain, COMPLETELY focused on the task of hunting you for sport?
Ha ha... *deep inhale* *starts screaming, never stops*
The man was already a living horror movie monster. Making him a yandere makes him WORSE~☆. Which is GREAT. For us, specifically. The readers. Not for the victim. THEY are fuuuuuuucked. Possibly in the literal sense, but unlikely.
Mind games and power plays are more fun.
The pointless struggle. Possession of something. The resemblance to Self. Because HE is perfect. Other people? Abhorrent. They're Rats. Vermin. Less, even, then that. They are nothing but occasionally interesting Quirks with meat attached to them. Sometimes useful servants and peons, born to be ruled.
But respective PARTNERS?
Gods NO. Don't be disgusting.
He is PERFECT. Powerful. He pulled himself up from the ruins of the early Quirk riots, the first days of those ugly wars, and became something MORE. Ascended. A Dark Lord, meant to rule, BORN to rule, over this new age of Man. It all makes perfect sense to him. He has plans within plans. Stretching out for centuries.
He just needs to get his brother BACK.
End this little rebellion.
It's a set back. Just a set back. And he's being PERFECTLY reasonable about his brothers Quirk. Utterly sane. He's ALWAYS been level headed and rational about family... is what he tells himself.
But he's NOT. He's Yandere AF.
His parents? He doesn't care AT ALL about. They nominally were supposed to control HIM. Uninterested, thanks. But? His weaker little brother? We SAW how he reacted. So I propose? You gotta be RELATED to him. And THEN the Bad Touch Instinct flips on.
Do you ACTUALLY have to share blood with him? No. But it would seriously help your survival chances. But the more you LOOK like him? The closer your Quirk to his? The more you are "him but weaker somehow"? The more INTERESTED he is.
The sort of Yandere he is? Is almost entirely dependent on HOW he learns of your existence. Cause? There is no way in HELL he had sex. At least not with ANOTHER PERSON. He has thousands of Quirks, thank you very much, any need he has? He can settle HIMSELF. Don't touch him.
Keep your filthy, filthy, disgusting paws to yourself.
So if someone SOMEHOW managed to get PREGNANT with his child? :) Well, now. :) he Certainly does have some Very Violent QUESTIONS. For EVERYONE involved. Starting with: How did you get his DNA? And did you touch him?
And once THEY are brutally dismembered corpses? You know, AFTER the child is born. Yandere time! They will want for nothing and KNOW nothing but him. Vault baby 2.0!
But?
Let us say? That the "mother" isn't an idiot. She KNOWS that she Oop's'd a baby with a Fuckin Psycho. Time to RUN. Let's EVEN give that kiddo Self Insert Powers! Cause WHOOPS? "Mummy... mummy I think I stole a quirk." (At least that random toddler seems WAY happier?) Oh SHIT! That's, KINDA DISTINCT.
Uuuuuuuuh *frantic maternal mental math* my babyyyyy.... has.... a....
SUPPRESSION Quirk! Yep, JUST like great *garbled cough* Aiko! Runs in the family, real rare. Looks like a two touch. Once to "suppress" and again to "UN-suppress" RIGHT, honey? *confused child nodding* yep! See! That's EXACTLY what it is. Nothing to see here.
Now PUT IT ON THE FUCKING FORMS.
And? That probably WORKS. For a while. Cause Mother moved them to the DEAD CENTER OF NOWHERE. Where her Quirk won't get her panic pregnant by any SUPERVILLIANS at a fucking Super Strength Thrown down (gdi, what even IS her life?!). But? Really only takes ONE(1) person, don't it?
One person to notice... waaaait a minute.
I've felt this before.
When AfO gave me my Quirk. *Looks at person in front of them*
And? Male? Female? Non-binary? Doesn't matter. He'd be INSTANTLY so, so horror movie creepy.
Suddenly EVERYONE AROUND YOU knows who you are. Is very polite. Your hotel is immaculate. Your food gourmet. People watching without watching. But are you imagining it? You haven't changed anything from yesterday. Why all of a sudden?
He gets the test results.
You Are His.
Suddenly the watchers are GONE. There is only ONE(1) watcher. Tall, broad, pale. An immaculate suit no matter how out of place. Red eyes. A placid face that might as well be carved from stone, for all the genuine human expression it shows. Never there when you turn your head.
Across the street. Atop buildings. In the shadows of alleys.
You can't tell if you're paranoid or your eyes just aren't quick enough. Was there someone just outside the window? Was that REALLY a shadow you saw, cast from the otherside of the door? You live in a safe neighborhood... don't you?
You can't tell if it's your reflection you're seeing or NOT.
Your gut says it isn't. (Says RUN.)
One by one, he'd pick off those around you. What information do they have? Who amongst his loyal can he replace them with? Isolate, isolate. Slowly, ever so slowly. Like a spider weaving a web.
Shhhhhh, shhhhh. Can't let you startle. Have you NOTICE. You'll fight. Hurt yourself pointlessly struggling. Things aren't ready yet. We must continue to play pretend. Go about our little lies. Enjoying the "freedom" he allows. All while he observes. Learns. Refines his plans accordingly.
People can adapt to damn near anything. As long as it doesn't hurt them. Sometimes even when it hurts them. A watcher? That... that never DOES anything? Maybe it's just some Quirk you unknowingly picked up. It's a crowded place, the city. It could happen.
Would explain why it went from lots of them to just one! You got control of it. Yeah. Yeah that makes more sense. (We rationalize away SO MUCH, in this age of Quirks.)
Which makes the fear so, SO much more real. So much SHARPER. When you jerk awake. In your bed. In your room, in your apartment. Where you SHOULD be alone. To a powerful hand, clamped like steel across your lower face. A familiar hole humming against your lips, dead center of a strangers palm.
That's your Quirk.
Why does-?! Eyes flick up as you struggle to breathe. Red, red eyes. White hair. Your face but older, watching you struggle, coldly handsome and deeply masculine. There's only one person he COULD be. All For One. You panic. Have to escape, but you can't get leverage. Scrambling pointlessly at the hand effortlessly pinning you to your bed. Crushing you too it.
Your fingers catch at his suit, his expensive watch, but despite your frantic efforts nothing draws blood. No amount of bucking so much as rocks him. He waits you out. Watching you panic yourself nearly unconscious. Not enough air. Can't breathe. Can't BREATHE!
Coughing, confused, and struggling to suck in air, you finally go limp.
He breaks into a grin. It is the stuff of nightmares. Croons down at you, like praising a pet, that you did good. Calls you by NAME. Oh god, he knows who you ARE. You don't have a lot of Quirks, never wanted to be like him. But you're SCARED. Your hands shake as they come back up.
As though you're going to try and pull his hand away, again.
Palms against skin. You... you try to RIP as many Quirks out of him as you can. Hopefully it hurts. M-Maybe it'll stun him?
He jerks. The grip on your face turns brutal, crushing, then relaxes back to suffocating. For a brief, terrible moment, you were certain you were about to LOSE your lower jaw. He shudders above you. Eyes sliding close he seems to revel in the sensation he just experienced.
Lifting a hand, he runs it through his hair, down his face, his neck. Lightly. Slowly. A shudder. As though he can't keep his hands off himself after that. Please God, let that not be what you think it is, starting to press against you through your covers.
His eyes, when he opens them, BURN.
A hand braced next to your head. The choking scent of his cologne, spiced and musky, burning at your nose. It mixes, like the calling card of something DANGEROUS, with his sharp aftershave. He leans down with the sort of ease that speaks of incredible muscle control. The movement utterly fluid.
A hungry grin, getting closer and closer. Then nothing but mad, crimson eyes filling your view. Your view of him blurs. Tears. All your long muttered plans for anger and sass abandoning you, now that the moment has come. You... you don't feel terribly brave. You feel cornered.
His hand move from clamped over your mouth to holding your face still.
He enjoys the view. Watching you cry for him. Muses in a low voice, just for you, that he wonders... will you try and fight next? His brother did. And you have far more Quirks then he possessed. Should he rip them out one by one? Or all at once? He could give you MORE. Share some of the interesting ones.
But, ah, you'd have to EARN that. Now wouldn't you?
You truely are his child. Covetous and greedy, just like him. Tell him... did it feel GOOD? Did you HUNGER? Want his power for yourself? His greedy little thing~♡
Is he a platonic Yandere? Does he want to screw you through the decadent king sized mattress? Yes. Somehow both. Somehow neither. Honestly? You can pick! He is EXACTLY that level of Weird about it. Just like with his brother.
He wants to croon and cage. Tie them up and discuss the newest research papers. Cuddle like equals yet have them at his feet. He wants to fuck himself. But only his PAST, WEAKER self, whom he can dominate. And while it's PREFERABLE they be into that? He doesn't give a shit if they aren't. Obviously... outside of a quirk? This is not possible.
(God knows he's probably TRYING.)
So the next best thing? Someone who LOOKS very, very similar! He would be OBSESSED. And the harder it was to get them? The more CONTROL he had? The closer they were to being LIKE him? The deeper his Obsession.
This has been my Yandere AfO Talk. If ya'll write anything, for the LOVE OF GOD, LINK ME.
